The cylindrical rivet studs, type TCP-M and TCPZ-M are the solution for sheet thicknesses from 0,5 up to 3,0mm. Ideal for mounting in large sheet applications , tubes or profiles.
Description
The Cylindrical rivet stud with flat head from Specialinsert®, type TCP-M is the solution for sheet thicknesses from 0,5 up to 3,0mm and is available in steel zinc plating, just as the knurled version of th etype TCPZ-M.
You can choose between M5, M6 and M8 outerthread in lengths of 15 up to 25mm.
The blind rivet stud is deformed using a manual tool, electric or a pneumatic gun by pulling the external thread away from the collar after this blind rivet stud has been placed in the provided hole in the sheet. Once the blind rivet stud is riveted, the threaded innerthread of the tool must be unscrewed. In this way, an external thread can be provided "blindly" in thin sheet, in other words, without accessing both sides of the sheet. This makes it the ideal solution for pipes and profiles.
