Rivet nut for end of tubes, Deform-Nut® TTN and TTS
The rivet nut, type Deform-Nut®, type TTN and TTS is the solution in order to obtain an M6 innerthread at the extremity of a tube with innerdiameters from 9,5 up to 19,9mm.
Description
The Specialinsert® M6 rivet nut, type Deform Nut®, type TTN is the solution in order to obtain an innerthread at the end of a cylindrical tube with innerdiameters from 9,5 up to 19,9mm. When mounted by the use of a fitting tool, the tube will be sligthly deformed by the riveting proces.
Available in steel zinc plating.
The blind rivet nut is deformed using a manual tool, electric blind rivet nut tool or a pneumatic gun for blind rivet nuts by pulling the internal thread away from the collar after this blind rivet nut has been placed at the end of the tube. Once the blind rivet nut is riveted, the threaded rod of the tool must be unscrewed. In this way, an internal thread can be provided at the extremity of a tube.
