The cylindrical open rivet nut for thin soft panels from Specialinsert®, type Deform-Nut® TC/INT is available in M5, M6 and M8 innerthread, has a large flat collar wich is ideal for soft thicknesses from 0,5 to 12,5mm and is available in steel zinc plating.
Description
The blind rivet nut is deformed using a manual tool, electric blind rivet nut tool or a pneumatic gun for blind rivet nuts by pulling the internal thread away from the collar after this blind rivet nut has been placed in the provided hole in the sheet. Once the blind rivet nut is riveted, the threaded rod of the tool must be unscrewed. In this way, an internal thread can be provided "blindly" in thin sheet, in other words, without accessing both sides of the sheet. This makes it the ideal solution for pipes and profiles.
