Rampa insert, type ESK can cut it's thread in the pre-drilled hole thanks to the combination of the selftapping cutting slot and the special (non-metric) outerthread.
Best mounted in a countersunk and pre-drilled hole in materials such as thermoplastics, cast iron, hard- and exotic wood.
This is the ideal solution for innerthread repair since you don't need a tool, just a hex key, so that the outerthread can be screwed into the hole!
Available in steel zinc plated and stainless steel 303 from M4 up to M8!
