Slotted reducer bushing with full internal thread, the ideal solution for repair or when you made a mistake and the tapered innerthread needs to be reduced!
Description
The slotted reducer bushing can be mounted with a screwdriver into the tapered metrical innerthread. We recommend to use an adhesive to bloc the insert in the tapered innerthread.
This easy to use insert allows you to reduce innerthreads from M14 to even M5 tapered innerthreads.
The second function can be to simply repair an innerthread by drilling and tapering a bigger innerthread where you lock the insert with an adhesive.
Available in blank steel, unhardened zinc plated steel and brass.
