The selftapping slotted insert with collar is ideal for obtaining a strong, and hardened innerthread in applications made of thermoplastics, cast iron, hard- and exotic wood.

Description

The selftapping slotted insert with collar can cut it's thread in the pre-drilled hole thanks to the combination of the selftapping cutting slot and the special (non-metric) outerthread.

Best mounted in a sligthly countersunk and pre-drilled hole in materials such as thermoplastics, cast iron, hard- and exotic wood.

This is also an ideal solution for innerthread repair.

This threaded insert can be mounted with a manual tool 610 or the mechanical tool 620, both hold the insert at the innerthread, so that the outerthread can be screwed into the hole.

Available in steel zinc plated and stainless steel 303 from M4 up to M10!
