Long wood insert nut with hex
Long wood insert nut with hex, type SKL CE-marked CE1034, is a metal threaded bushing with a metric internal thread M6 to M16 that is available from 25 up to 100mm long. The wood thread on the outside can be screwed directly into the pre-drilled hole thanks to the unthreaded lead to facilitate mounting in wood constructions that can withstand pull-out forces up to 4.500 Kg!

Description
Strong nut in wood construction needed?
The steel zinc plated screw-in insert nut, type SKL has a closed innerthread and can be mounted without special tooling in softer wood, plastic and even lead by the means of a hexagonal key. Thanks to the unthreaded lead, the insert will fall into position before starting to screw, what ensures mounting in the rigth angle (that follows the drilled hole). The internal metric thread is much shorter then the wood thread because the wood connection is the lighter one, so it would be overkill to taper such long innerthread.
Ideal for use in wooden constructions such as wooden stairs but also in hoisting applications with lifting points.
